مستخلص:يسعى هذا البحث إلى إبراز الجهود النقدية لعلماء الغرب الإسلامي في خدمتي علم النحو والقراءات القرآنية، من خلال نموذج العالم الجليل أثير الدين أبي حيان الأندلسي (ت 745هـ)، وذلك عبر تتبّع استدراكاته ومناقشاته النقدية لآراء الزمخشري وابن عطية في تفسيريهما “الكشاف” و”المحرر الوجيز”. ويركّز البحث على تحليل هذه النقود في ضوء قواعد النحو ومنهج القراءات، مع إبراز تميّز أبي حيان في الترجيح والتعليل، ودحض الصورة النمطية التي اختزلت علماء الغرب الإسلامي في دور التلقي والتقليد، مُبيِّنًا مكانة أبي حيان بوصفه ناقدًا ومفسرًا أصيلًا، عبر منهج استقرائي مقارن يجمع بين التوثيق والتحليل.

This study aims to highlight the critical contributions of scholars from the Islamic West in the fields of Arabic grammar and Qur’anic readings, through the exemplary figure of the renowned scholar Athir al-Din Abu Hayyan al-Andalusi (d. 745 AH). The research traces his critical remarks and scholarly responses to the views of al-Zamakhshari and Ibn ‘Atiyyah in their respective exegeses, al-Kashshaf and al-Muharrar al-Wajiz. The focus is on analyzing these critiques in light of grammatical principles and the methodology of Qur’anic readings, while showcasing Abu Hayyan’s excellence in evaluation and argumentation. The study also challenges the stereotypical portrayal of Maghribi scholars as mere transmitters or imitators, and instead presents Abu Hayyan as an original critic and exegete, through a comparative and inductive approach that combines documentation and analysis.
