للّغة مهام عديدة أهمها التواصل بين الأفراد، وفي الذّهن هي مصمّمة للربط بين الصوت والمعنى. ومع النّحو التّوليدي، اهتمّ تشومسكي بنمذجة اللّغة من خلال البحث في كيفيّة حوسبة اللّغة في الذّهن، ومنذ النماذج التوليديّة الأولى وصولا إلى أحدثها لم يطمئن تشومسكي إلى نموذج بعينه، فكان يختبر ويفحص ويطوّر، وكذلك فعل من حذا حذوه. وفحوى عمل تشومسكي ومن تبعه من توليديّين الاشتغال على الملكة اللّغوية التي أساسها نظام حوسبيّ أو إعرابيّ يعمل بقواعد إعرابيّة تحوّل المعطيات إلى تمثيلات في الذّهن، وأساس هذا العمل البساطة في القواعد والاقتصاد والوضوح وعدم التّعقيد، فبخطوات بسيطة وكلمات محدودة يستطيع المتكلّم التعبير عن مقصده دون تعقيد أو إنتاج عدد لا متناه من الجمل. وقد قام بحثنا هذا على عنصرين اثنين، أما العنصر الأوّل فتناولنا فيه عددا من المفاهيم أهمّها الملكة اللّغوية والنّحو الكلّي والسّمات والمقولات، وأمّا العنصر الثاني فركّزنا فيه على آليتين أو قل عمليتين توليديّتين شهدتا تطورات جادة من الطرح التوليدي الأوّل. وتوضّح لنا التلازم والتعالق بين الآليات والمفاهيم التوليديّة برغم تطوّرها أو تعديل أساسياتها.

Abstract:

Language has many tasks, the most important of which is communication between individuals. In the mind, it is designed to link sound and meaning. With generative grammar, Chomsky was interested in modeling language by researching how language is computed in the mind. From the first generative models up to the most recent ones, Chomsky was not satisfied with a specific model, so he tested, examined and developed. So did those who followed him. The content of Chomsky’s work, and those who followed him, is to work on the linguistic faculty, which is based on a computational or syntactic system that works with syntactic rules that transform data into representations in the mind. The basis of this work is simplicity in rules, economy, clarity and uncomplicatedness. With simple steps and limited words, the speaker can express his intention without complication, and he can produce an infinite number of sentences. Our research was based on two elements. As for the first element, we dealt with a number of concepts, the most important of which are the linguistic faculty, universal grammar, features, and categories. As for the second element, we focused on two mechanisms or two generative processes that witnessed serious developments from the first generative proposition. It shows us the correlation and interrelationship between generative mechanisms and concepts, despite their development or modification of their basics.
