تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز أهمية التنمية الزراعية في تحقيق الأمن الغذائي، حيث قمنا بتحليل سلوك هاتين المتغيرتين في الجزائر خلال الفترة الممتدة بين عامي 2000 و2018، وذلك بتقسيم الورق البحثي على ثلاثة عناصر أساسية، حيث تطرقنا في البداية إلى الأمن الغذائي والتنمية الزراعي من حيث المفهوم ومؤشرات القياس، ثم تطرقنا إلى السياسة الزراعية في الجزائر وجهود تحقيق الأمن الغذائي، وأخيرا حاولنا تحليل انعكاسات السياسة الزراعية في الجزائر على بعض مؤشرات الأمن الغذائي
لقد توصلنا إلى انها بالرغم من الجهود المبذولة والسياسات المتبعة للنهوض بالقطاع الزراعي، وبالرغم من المؤشرات الإيجابية التي سجلها القطاع، إلا أن الجزائر لا زالت بعيدة جدا عن تحقيق المن الغذائي الذاتي؛ وهو ما يتوجب إيلاء المزيد من الاهتمام وتشجيع الاستثمار في هذا القطاع الحساس لضمان الأمن والسيادة الوطنية.

Abstract:
This paper aims to outline of the importance of agricultural development in achieving food security ; that’s why we analyzed the behavior of these two variables in Algeria during the period between 2000 and 2018 . We divided the research paper into three basic elements. At first we discussed food security and agricultural development, then we analyzed the agricultural policy in Algeria and the government’s efforts to achieve food security, and finally we tried to analyze the implications of agricultural policy in Algeria on some indicators of food security.
We have concluded that despite the efforts made and the policies followed to advance the agricultural sector, and despite the positive indicators recorded by the sector, Algeria is still very far from achieving self-food security; That is why the government should pay more attention and encourage investment in this sensitive sector to ensure security and national sovereignty.
