تضطلع كثير من المنظمات الدولية بمسؤوليات تتصل بإعمال الحق في الغذاء. وتقوم هذه المنظمات، إذا طلب منها ذلك، بتقديم الدعم، في حدود ولايتها وخبرتها إلى الدول الأعضاء فيها من أجل تنفيذ الحق في الغذاء. وعلى سبيل المثال، تدعم منظمة الأمم المتحدة للأغذية والزراعة (FAO) إعمال الحق في الغذاء بخبرائها ومعارفها في مجال الأغذية والزراعة، وذلك من خلال مناقشتها هذا الحق، واعداد ندوات، ووضع خطط واتفاقيات، واقامة تعاون دولي واقليمي فيما يتصل بهذا الحق، فضلا عن قيامها بتحقيق مشروعات تعاون على المستوى الوطني والإقليمي والدولي.

Many international organizations have responsibilities related to the realization of the right to food. These organizations, if requested to do so, provide support, within the limits of their experience, to their Member States for the implementation of the right to food. For example, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) supports the realization of the right to food through its experts and knowledge in the field of food and agriculture, through the discussion of this right, the organization of seminars and conventions, the development of plans, the establishment of international and regional cooperation relating to this right, and finally to implement cooperation projects at the national, regional levels and internationally.
